Sick : (

Rustyn has been very sick since Wednesday. He has a cold with a bad cough and now has a stomach virus on top of that. We've had several sleepless nights. It just breaks our hearts to see him so sick. He has been sick a lot since he started daycare. Thank goodness Mom, Memaw, Cindy, and Stormy came to visit this weekend. They were a lot of help. I get so nervous when he is sick and he has just been pitiful. We are seeing much improvement today. He is actually drinking some pedialyte and keeping it down. Mom and Cindy had to get back home so they left today, but Memaw is going to stay the week with us and keep Rustyn at home. YAY!!!

Jeep

We'd been having very fall like weather, but last weekend was really warm. We decided to take advantage of the warm weather and take a ride in the jeep. I took a few quick snaps of Rustyn while we waited on Dad to get ready.

"It Fits!"

Rustyn got this hat from grandma Pie before he was born. It finally fits now and he loves it. I was surprised that he kept it on his head for a long time.

I've gotten behind with my posts with school starting and everything. I'll try to keep up now that everything has settled down. Rustyn has started sitting up better, so that has opened up a whole new world for him. Also, he has been eating cereal and baby food for 3 weeks now. He wasn't sure about it at first....but now he LOVES it! So far, carrots and peaches are favorites! He's still not sure about squash. We will be trying green beans soon. I know this sounds crazy but I really enjoy feeding him new things and learning his likes and dislikes. The exciting life of a mother!

I love my Sassy dog!

Rustyn is just now starting to notice Sassy. He Loves her. We spend a lot of time outside and he watches her every move. I think they will be big friends soon.

It's Getting Cooler

I can't believe the cool air is already here. The high today was 63. We took a few pics of Rustyn in his denim jacket. Can you tell we are proud of him?

"I think I can run this feedstore"

Rustyn's first visit to the Iola feedstore. He helped Daddy Jim answer a few phone calls and Mama Sue gave him a bottle and introduced him to a few customers.

Daddy and Me

There is nothing more precious than seeing Rustyn with Cody. They are crazy about each other. He is the best daddy. We love you!

Bumbo

Bumbo is the name of Rustyn's blue chair. Pie gave it to him a few weeks ago and he loves it. It is really squishy and it supports his back well. I think he will like it even more when he is able to hold his head up for longer periods of time.

Crystal and Brian's Wedding

Our friends, Crystal and Brian, got married June 20. I was in the wedding, so I stayed at the ranch the night before the wedding. Of course I couldn't leave Rustyn, so he came with me. Crystal and Rustyn are very close, so she was insisting for me to bring him too. Luckily, Stormy is here for the summer so she came with us to help. It was so windy the day of the wedding. We were worried the table cloths were going to fly away. But, we taped those suckers down and it was a gorgeous wedding. Rustyn was so good that weekend. He stayed indoors for the most part, but he snuck outside to get in a few pics!
